Kaden McCarney

Financial Advisor

Kaden began his career in a tax advisory CPA firm, where he gained hands-on experience preparing client tax returns and understanding the complexities of personal and business taxation. Through this experience, he recognized that true financial success requires more than just filing taxes, it requires proactive, holistic planning.

Motivated by his belief in transparency, integrity, and independence, Kaden transitioned into financial planning under the fee-only fiduciary model, providing advice free from commissions or product sales. His only goal is to provide objective, comprehensive advice that empowers clients to make confident financial decisions.

As a financial planner, Kaden partners with individuals and families to build personalized strategies that align with their values and long-term goals — from saving for retirement and reducing taxes to creating lasting legacies for future generations. His approach is proactive, educational, and deeply rooted in helping clients find clarity and confidence in every stage of life.

Kaden earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Boise State University and completed a minor in Financial Planning at BYU-Idaho, fulfilling the coursework required for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He has passed the CFP® exam and currently holds his Series 65 license, while completing the professional experience requirement to officially receive the CFP® mark.

Outside of work, Kaden finds his greatest joy in family and the outdoors. He and his wife, Jocie, both speak Portuguese, a skill they each gained while serving missions for their church. Together, they welcomed their first son, Fisher, in August 2025. Whether he’s hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing, or playing tennis and pickleball, Kaden values a life rooted in faith, family, and Idaho’s great outdoors.

What I am happiest doing when I’m not at the office: Jake really enjoys pickleball, tennis, and golf. As the weather gets colder, you can find him nestled into his favorite chair, reading a book in front of the fire.  In the summer, he spends his time on the lake, in a surf boat with family and friends.
